Mindy and Josh were married at the Stinnett Farm in Rogersville, Tennessee. It was a beautiful and unseasonably, hot day in September and it was perfect. Mindy and Josh are the coolest and not just because they let me take tons of awesome photos of them but because they really are. They like to laugh and have fun. Plus, Mindy likes peanut butter as much as I do and that’s an automatic check in the plus column in my book. I’m so excited to finally be able to share more images from their wedding. There were so many favorites it was impossible to narrow it down to just a few.

The very first time I spotted an Ewok in the Star Wars movies, I wanted one. That’s never changed. I still talk about how much I wish they were real so I could have one. Lol. When we had Raven, I knew as soon as he hit the right height (and still young enough that I get to pick out his costume), he was going to be an Ewok. This year was THE year. I’ve never been a fan of store bought costumes. Not that there’s anything wrong with them. They’ve came a looooooooooooong way from the 1980s where you got some weird plastic shirt and a horrid mask. My mom always made our costumes. Always. One year I was a Hershey’s Kiss. Seriously. I wanted to give my mom a break though because her and my dad are always busy building their lemonade/pumpkin/cocoa/whateveryouwantthemtobe stands. We are busy people. Too busy. Way too busy.  I took to the internet to find a costume for Raven. I googled for days and I’m an excellent googler. Nothing. There was nothing but a plain ol’ costume over and over. I couldn’t do it. There was so much potential with an Ewok costume. I called my mom and told her that she needed to make me a costume. We talked and planned forever. When she finally finished, she said that she wouldn’t know how much money it would take to make another one. Haha! It is awesome. Very awesome. Now when you google an Ewok costume for Halloween, this one will pop up. You’re welcome to anyone that decides to make one for their kiddo.

Jyn Allen Photography is looking for a pretty lady for our wedding casting call. I’m looking for someone to model a wedding dress for a bridal session. In exchange for your time, you will receive your edited images from the session.

The date and location has yet to be determined. I do have a style in mind for the session. If you’d like to be considered, please send me a recent head and body shot. It can be a cell phone photo. You can send it to jynallenphotography@gmail.com or if you’re my friend on facebook a PM there is fine as well.

Please tell your friends. It’s an amazing opportunity to receive some really cool bridal photos in a beautiful dress.
